Is the church famous for any particular reason? Otherwise could be any village church in “Middle England”.

Correct. The random house with no windows was the clue. Salisbury Plain is very pretty but you couldn't go anywhere as it was all closed.

The house to the far left has no windows. It's an army training ground normally closed off to the public iirc.

You might see these pretend towns/training areas on the news more recently training Ukrainians etc. smile
