So one family left themselves less than two hours from arriving to flight departing ? I think Ryanair are advising 3 hours at present.
Bristol Airport are saying 2 hours at the moment on the local news.

No, if you read the article it seems lots of people were affected albeit for a 2/3 hour window in the morning.
And Ryanair advise two hours before

Apparently Italian ATC on strike today causing a bit more chaos.

Just flew Thesaloniki to Rotterdam and it was an absolute breeze. Through security in a few minutes at Thesaloniki, and a short walk from the plane to a pretty quiet terminal at Rotterdam.

Expecting Schiphol to Birmingham to be a bit of a nightmare in a couple of weeks.

It’s largely back to normal again. There were always delays at some times in most airports.

In the last 10 days I’ve been through 7 different airports in the Uk & abroad. Other than a 15min wait for bags in Malaga & Southampton, no queues no waits,

What's Heathrow (T2) like at the wee hours of the morning these days.

I've a flight at 6:30 am (thanks to a cancellation) and would rather not rock up at 3:30 if I don't have to.

Anyone know if the Star Alliance self check in is open?

LAX -> FRA today, no real issues at either end. Things settling down it would seem.

Flew Luton to Dalaman 16 October mid afternoon flight.

30-40 minutes checking in
15 minutes security
2 hrs wait in departures because I'm always early smile

Return was ok apart from flight being delayed nearly 2 hours and one of our bags being literally the last bag on the conveyor.

Queue for passports huge if you had kids under 12, luckily we didn't and flew through the auto ones.

Late flight so with delays and baggage we got home at 4am frown

went through Heathrow T3 yesterday - there was again a big line for security - I am lucky to get fast track but even this was a 40 min line. I think the 1400 take off times for a few carriers meant that the airport was very busy. I will be avoiding this time in the future.

It's not just us - Dubai last night was mayhem - I know a 0100/0200 landing is busy - but from walking off the plane to getting in my taxi was just under 2 hours.

I have never lined up for so long for a taxi here before - a few weeks ago I took the same flight and no where near the same amount of people. I think holidays are back on (its high season here) and the football in the region is kicking off too.
