Short flight to Nice tomorrow so not too bothered but has anyone experienced SmartLynx Latvia?

It's never happened to us on EasyJet.

Easyjet are servicing a route with someone elses plane and someone elses crew.

They're using them on the Mahon-Gatwick route as well.

Happened to us in March with Easy jet. Booked with Easy jet return to corfu. Flew out with them but back with Lynx/Latvia. Had no issues what so ever. Until we got back to Gatwick that is, useless sthole of an airport

Not only easyJet......

I'm flying from Gatwick to Verona BA Club quite soon and I've been advised the flight will be handled by Iberia Express which a sister IAG company. I have been assured there will be no change in service standards; we'll see.

They said that with American Airlines codeshare with BA across the atlantic.... definitely was not the case, the F offering on AA was very much sub-par compared to the F offering on BA trans-atlantic routes. I was not impressed at the time at all.

Until it comes to the situation where the leased plane doesn't have the same number of seats as the original plane and they awkwardly mention that 42 people can't make the flight.

Happened to my mum recently, luckily due to the distance and the length of delay she could claim £350 from the airline in compensation.

Cheers everyone. It was quite seamless as exactly the same aircraft so our legroom seats were in the same place.

Great service actually, no worse than EJ.

No hot food though but that is no loss for us.

You'll love that! They'll insist you wear a face mask because it's a Spanish-registered aircraft!
