I’m having a nightmare getting hold of anybody at BA, phone line puts me into a queue then eventually drops the call, tried their recommended route via Twitter DM but it’s tumbleweed, they did brief reply very late last night but I’d selfishly gone to bed.

There’s a real rot set in post covid, the whole customer experience has taken a dive, real shame as we use them a lot as all our travel is transatlantic/ Caribbean and they have that pretty much sewn up.

Odd. Last couple of times I called them I got through in seconds, I thought they’d solved that issue? Shame to hear the old ways have returned

I love a big rant, and my most common one recently is similar to what you point out:

Companies that you've paid for something who you then can never contact (at least not without a battle. Prime examples are housing insurance, banks, utilities... they're all happy to take your premiums month after month but if you want to call or contact it's very difficult.
