How quickly are new passports getting sent out?

I did my passport application online as it was for a straightforward renewal on Friday 3rd March. Had my photo taken and got a code for my application and sent my old passport off on the the same day. My new passport arrived yesterday. Nine working days is very good I would say.

I did mine 27 of Feb online, sent my old one 3 of March, got a text that it was received on the 6th, still waiting,

Completed online application to renew mine last Friday and posted old passport back the same day.
Receipt of passport received yesterday and email this morning stating it has been authorised and sent for printing.

Delivered - 1 May

Just under 3 weeks.
