Recommendations for Split, Croatia

Me and daughter (16) going to Croatia for an activity holiday and, as we have done before, want to tag on a couple of relaxing luxury days at the end. Think lounging by a pool, nice hotel, few nice meals.

Any hotel recommendations? Small boutique preferable to 5* Hyatt

Things to do/see in Split?

Or should we head up / down the coast (taxi distance, CBA to hire a car) rather than staying in the City?

Can’t recommend any hotels but while Split is nice I’d probably head out on a ferry and stay on Korluca or Hvar

Head to hvar.

Maslina resort is where you want to stay if money no object.

Or palace Elizabeth.

We live on the island part time and also know split well, so if you want any more info let me know.

They can pick you up by 50ft sunseeker from split or the airport (close to Trogir)

You can walk to the city centre if you want, but Uber is very cheap.

We are on Brac for the activities so easy to jump over to Hvar I guess.

Hotel wise would rather not go crazy, was thinking £200-250 per night ideally

Adriana hotel in hvar town is probably in that range. Nice quiet pool and spa. And it’s the quiet side of the town

Trogir and the Kaka park are worth a day each.

Boat trip to any of the islands. Jadrolinija ferries run all over.

Good choice.

Make sure you visit dalmatinos restaurant- 5 min walk away. Also cocktails in the top bar at the Adriana (soft drinks also available!).

Cheers. Looking to park up at Palmižana in a few weeks and get the boat across to Hvar so have marked these as places to go.

Palmizana looked lovely, slightly above my budget and different have a pool IIRC
