HI guys, planning on doing a trip to the peak district and want to find a specific location!

The photo I have seen is someone sitting on the edge of a ridge with what seems likes shear drop with fantastic views over a valley. Firstly is this in the peak district and if it is where is it?

The best I can come up with is stanage ridge, but not sure this is the right place!

Any help appreicated wink

Could be Froggatt edge nr Bakewell. It's all nice around bakewell, with some great climing, mountain biking, walking on the moors etc. Loads to do with historic houses, Chatsworth, haddon hall, hardwick hall.

Having lived and climbed in the peaks for years (although not now) you're going to have to be more specific as there are literally hundreds of places that fit that description.

Is it limestone or grit in the picture?

Looks like either Froggatt or Curbar to me. They're next to each other anyway.
