Ice diving recommendations

I may have a week off starting next Fri and would like to finally try scuba diving under ice.
Ideally someplace interesting but quite accessible due to lack of time (as in not Antarctica etc).

Anyone?

They used to do this in a big lake in the middle of the ski resort in Tignes, France and may still do.

They were still doing in last season from what i remember in Tignes

Tignes le lac is the first place that sprung to my mind. Think you can do it at night there too.
