Mrs Jem is suggesting the Hotel at Bognor for Seven days in May.
Now it makes me shudder but the kids will love it.
The suites look ok?
Anyone been?
She will book it anyway but need something to cling too.

Out of interest, how much is it per person? I'm sure for whatever the budget, the folk on here could draft up a better itinery.

If you fancy it though, go for it. Just make sure you read up on it so you don't get a shock when you turn up. Maybe it just has a bad reputation from years gone by. Gordon Ramsey and his wife go there every summer with their kids. There's a story to quote!

Acty it's much better than you think. Hotels (there are two) are nice nad the newest one has a spa. Plenty to keep kids amused and inexpensive once there as all the rides/shows are included in the price. There is also plenty to do along the coast if you fancy a few days out

As I suspected it's booked.
Seven nights Diner bed and breakfast for four in a two room 'suite' with balcon in the newest hotel. £1010
All entertainment inclusive.
As said kids will love it for sure.

The bloke who wrote this book ended his life of being permanently pissed after seeing drunken plumbers etc acting the arse at a freebie Butlins weekends.

He said to his mate, " Look at that set of tts" and his mate said "But they have jobs and careers and come to Butlins to act like that for one weekend a year, you act like that all the time."

It sobered him up and put him on the wagon.

If Butlins can do that to a bloke who is an utter weapons grade drunken cock, and Paul Carr is definitely one of those, then good luck, you will need it.

I go there a couple of times a year for work (I help produce their brochure and a few mags) and I think you might be pleasantly surprised as you're staying in one of the hotels at Bognor. Good weather helps, as does regressing a little – it always brings the kid out in me…
