Recommend me a villa in Portugal please.

Hi,

Can anyone recommend me a villa in Portugal, or does anyone own one they rent out ? First two weeks in August.

It needs to be able to sleep 8 people, be children freindly and close enough to good places to eat.

Pool,sea view and air-conditioning are must.

Please help me as my wife is driving me mad !

We've used Villaplus to rent one in Albufeira - was very well equipped - pool table, table tennis, ace pool, DVD, the lot. I'm guessing it'll be a tall (expensive) order to get hold of a villa with sea view in the Algarve.

check villas in "Vale do Lobo" resort - you should be able to find one that meets the criteria, just not sure about the price...

in the golden triangle (vale do lobo/quinta do lago/san lorenzo) you will be talking £5-8k a week at that time of year - there are hundereds of villas to choose from. But not many will have sea views, you will definatley need a hire car - you can't walk to restaurants really as they will be too far and never proper pavements etc etc - i have been going to that part of the world for 30 years and love it!!!

I think my place is already rented early August, check with Villas and Vacations, they handle letting for loads of villa owners in the golden triangle area (mine included)and have a great reputation
