Just got on a double-decker bus; driver says not to go upstairs because his CCTV camera up there doesn't work. WTF?

I'm too old/not cool enough to sit upstairs anyway, but what an incredulous bit of wrong-headedness.

The fact that, on a DVD cover or film poster, the actors names across the top are never in the same order as they appear in the picture below frown

old people who stop in shop doorways.
And those who form a huddle for a yap between the bus shelter and shops thus reducing the width of the free pavement to about half a metre or less.

We are saying a prayer for the families in Moore, Oklahoma. May God grant them peace & understanding during this time. Please pray with us.
Good idea Luv,pray to a (non existent) god,for the victims of what is always described as an "act of god"!!!
Its one of the wife's mates who posted this on her wall,so if I replied by pointing out the bloody obvious using her account,I would be dead within minutes.
I watched the video of the old lady who, during the interview, found her dog. It's obviously great and very heartwarming that she found her dog, because dogs are brilliant, and losing your dog under the ruins of your house would be st, but then she said "God answered two prayers today". Should have added a third, luv; "don't run a fking tornado through my house, thanks ever so".
I wonder what prayed FOR the tornado? Works both ways surely
Spotted this online earlier.

Ok, I don't know if this has been mentioned before but:

The little run people do on pedestrian crossings.
The light is red, we're all waiting, there's no need to run, let alone cross at walking pace only to jog the last little bit.

I hate calling a garage about picking up my new car yesterday, being told it's all fine and arranging a pick up today including getting a lift across the county.

Then getting called two hours before the time I was going to pick it up to be told it won't be ready until tomorrow, and rearranging my day tomorrow and another lift from someone else.

Then later getting call saying it won't be ready until some parts have arrived which they haven't ordered yet, and that might be sometime next week, but they don't know.

I haven't bought a car for three years. I was really excited. I'm now really angry.

That sort of thing is the result of negotiating who gets the "best" position in the picture and who gets "best" billing.

People who bite and pick their nails.

fking disgusting habit, buy a set of nail clippers and leave the damn things alone.
I know a few people who do this, their nails and finger ends are a mess.

Plus the "click, click" sound drives me insane.. hehe

Stupid job interview questions, the only result of which is to demonstrate how well you can lie - like:

"Where do you see yourself in 5 years time" - "On a beach in the Caribbean after a huge lottery win you fktard"

and this

Drivers who don't thank you for letting them through with the blockage (cars, road works etc) on their side of the road. It makes me rage.

Middle-lane/outside lane dwellers.

People who sing in the office or generally act annoying/talk loudly when you’re trying to work something out/talk to a customer.

Ditherers… was behind a nobber at the Costa machine in the local Esso this morning and he took forever to stir his st and put the lid on, collect some napkins etc. FFS!

People walking along a busy street and just stop, in the middle of the pavement for a chat/look in window/adjust buggy/some other selfish bks without thinking of people behind them.

Cold callers – not necessarily those doing the job as I sympathise with them but the s who run these fking firms. No I didn’t fill some survey in and no I don’t want to speak to you… how do you know my name and number??? I’m not usually rude to the person trying to make a living but I don’t like the dishonesty/bullst.

As above but automated!!!!

My daughter, is a proper bad mood, is sat, barefoot, rubbing her feet on the carpet. The noise is driving me mad...

Am not going to bite as I think she knows it's annoying me even without saying anything....

While we're on the subject of cyclists, how about cyclists who actually move into the right hand lane of the road to block an overtake by a car (on a perfectly safe, straight bit of road), we're not in the USA, we drive on the left here, you total .

Or what about the cyclists who ride on dangerous stretches of dual carriageway because it saves them maybe 30 seconds on their journey instead of using the perfectly safe cycle paths provided to them. Obviously don't value their life too highly. Sympathy won't be forthcoming when the inevitable happens.
For a serious cyclist, the cycle paths are quite often the worse option as they are hopelessly undermaintained, not kept free of leaves/ice/potholes and in various other ways just not suitable for a vehicle with 25mm tyres moving at 40kph.

She's 5 going on 16 - She gets her temperament from her Mum.

And I'd just asked her to pick up some cushions that she threw on the floor that I specifically told her not to do - she stomped about picking them up saying how "it just wasn't fair".

I'll start calling her Kevin soon smile

Has anyone else here ever tried to cancel a mobile phone contract with 3 telecom?

First I tried calling 333, the customer service number, but I was asked by a recorded voice for a PIN which I don't know and there was no option to speak to a human. My next course of action was for the (very helpful) chap in Carphone wehouse to dial another number he had which got me through to an operator. The operator took all my details then passed me to another operator who did the same. I was then passed to a third operator who took all my details. Having told all of them that I wanted to cancel the contract and get the code allowing me to transfer my phone number I thought I was on the home straight. No such luck. I was on the line for seventeen and a half minutes and I must have repeated the line "I don't want to discuss anything other than cancelling the contract" at least twenty times.

I knew there was a reason why I haven't changed phones for the past four years but fking hell, I've put less effort into moving house before.
