Big capacity engines in Australia aren't about the power, they're about longevity and reliability. So low specific output, and very little stress on the engine.

Is he in the Thames Section of the ERU's Water-Borne Unit?

Nice Hi-vis / Life Jacket combo but perhaps needs a nautical style cap with some Battenberg to complete the look IMO. And a utility belt.

Maybe it's just me, but every time "Article 50" is mentioned I visualise Kryten reciting some ridiculous Red Dwarf Space Corps directive.

The caption should read -
"Jeremy Corbyn mobbed by 25 supporters in Parliament Square"
That is why a wide lens was used.

Corbyn has a massive following amongst the 'grass roots' labour members - hence why he's where he is.

If the MPs don't like his style, then maybe they are the ones out of touch with what the country wants from a labour leader.

Personally, I thought Burnham would have been a better leader - but Corbyn has massive support, so he should continue as leader.

A pub near us still had last night's football advertised, the sign read "England vs Bejams"

I guess you have to be of a certain age

Like it.

I suggest you look up the Iceland Foods twitter feed, it was hilarious last night.

They had a challenge with Carlsberg that if Iceland won, the Carlsberg chairman had to change his name to Lars Lagerback and if England won, the Iceland chairman had to change his name to Roy Hodgson. There was also the small matter of 600 cans of beer involved, too!

Little bit of an ammendment to your statement. I think it was the idealist grass roots of the party that are his momentum, and that can be quite an insular little bubble in any party.

Could you possibly take the political chatter somewhere else, like the News & Politics forum?

Every single bloody thread is being derailed with Brexit talk right now. You'd think there was nowhere else to talk about it. rolleyes

New team member started Thursday. Name : Fanny.
Here in Euroland that is not the least bit amusing except to me.
So far have held it together but i cant stand much more.
"Before we start the meeting we should go get Fanny"
"Where's Fanny" (im a northerner so happy to exclude the overrated THE)
"Is that Fanny?"
"Have you seen fanny?"
Late for a meeting "Ahhh, here's fanny"
She approaches the tea table outside someone shouts out "Hej Fanny!"
The worst so far was just a a plain straight call out by a colleague as she went past. "Faaannnnnnnneeeee"
That had my chin against my neck with a trembling lower jaw.
