The original referrendum, won by a very narrow margin, was a farce, based on total lies (on all sides, not just leave), people voted based on a guess at absolute best because there was no actual hard info to go on.
Today, over 3 years later, we have had the vast majority of studies suggesting that leaving the EU is a net negative effect (certainly in the near to mid term) and the lies of both sides have been publicised, and shown for what they are (ridiculously false hopes)

If BREXIIT does lead to economic rescesion (and i'm not saying it will), then the one thing i am absolutely sure of is that the fat cat politicians we just voted into government will run for their cash rich hills and abandon the poor man in the street quicker than you can say "shall we give £350million to the NHS".......
