Ok, it's not really about spelling but it's the classic of/have nonsense. Halfway through his sentence the geezer actually gets it right.

It infuriates me! If they just looked at what they've written and think about about "shouldn't of" could possibly mean, given the meaning of 'of'. Grrrrr.

Then there is also the 'loose/lose' confusion.
