One of my pet hates. Mixing accept with except and all derivatives thereof.

Unlike the group of what looked like three families obviously just arrived at a local holiday park doing their shop. Literally 6 adults and the same in kids barging up and down the ailses, no masks, no distancing, no nothing.

Only thing wrong with that AFAICS is "tarmac" which of course should be "bitmac"

Well, Frank knows a thing or two about taxis, and he nominated it, so I reckon it stays. biggrin

Thanks Paul, as far as I’ve always understood, if you were on a plane which had pushed back from the loading ramp, and was on its way to the runway for take off, you were taxiing, likewise a plane under its own steam, after landing, heading for the arrivals ramp.
When I was confronted with the fact that taxying was an accepted alternative, my first thought was, “SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!”
If it’s an acceptable alternative, so be it, I’ll accept it, but I’ll never use that spelling.

Credit for spelling "hypocrisy" correctly though, that's something of a rarity.
