I’m off to Italy late Aug and I’ve always wanted to drive one of the passes but I’m tight on time, have to be in Lake Garda on the Monday and could leave the UK as early as Fri night but most likely Sat morning. Not interested in the Stelvio, heard too many negative stories but quite taken with the Furka but in truth I don’t really know which is best in terms of driving pleasure and views.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Cheers all.

Given that there’s nothing wrong with my post, you must be trying to make a point. Sadly, I suspect it’s lost on everybody apart from you.

Jog on old man.

It's a nice day, might be best if you sit outside in the sun and clear your head. You're clearly seeing things that no-one else can.

Yeah, I'm with Spleen here. I can't see anything wrong with that. You'll have to explain it to me because clearly I'm as thick as Spleen.

The grammar is a bit informal. Spelling is fine, meaning is clear. I don't see any reason to put it here.

Cool, can you explain the issues with the post you quoted?

Silence.

The trouble with this thread is that it attracts those randoms that seem to think that this thread is all about picking apart people's spelling (and grammar) with a degree of adenoidal satisfaction not unlike the IAM and anyone that doesn't Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre. To be fair, I wish more people on our motorways would do more of that but I digress.

What clever clogs above has missed is that this thread is all about the funnies rather than, 'Oooh, he didn't i before e except after c.' Of course, yer man needs to be correct in the first place before having a pop.

I particularly enjoyed 'dordle.'

Agreed. I was going to say something lame about washing your car after your trip - because there’s mud there Furka - but it all got a bit scratchy.
