As for the second function, the jewelry - well posters have already said you cant tell the difference visually, without a loop.

In a pub I stopped in a few weeks back. Not sure if it's deliberate olde-worlde spelling or just ignorance / bloody mindedness that allowed it onto the wall of a recently-refurbished place.
