Just discovered Costco.....
Discussion
After having various friends and family rave about it and also seen some references on here to various items I have eventually registered and have just returned from the first excursion....
Some cracking bargins and some stuff that was really not that great but have to say was pretty impressed with the place overall and some things like balancing from £8.40 a wheel and free nitrogen inflations for tyres seems a decent service for members.

Is it still for selected people or can commoners now join? My Dad used to have a card because he worked at a bakery (?) but he let it expire. I only used to tag along so I could buy pizza from the deli.
Selected professions can join as individuals either that or you have to have a company. FloppyRaccoon said:
I find it near impossible to go in without buying something. I never realise how many things I need until I walk around there.
We only went in to do the membership thing get our pictures taken and pick up the cards, oh and thought we would pick up some dishwasher tablets and diet coke plus have a wander around and get the lay of the land.... £850 and change in two trollies later we are trying to work out how to get it all in the car!!The fresh pizza was awesome I have to say!

I joined last month and been a couple of times but don't really think it's for me. Great iff you have a family or need to buy in bulk, but I live on my own. I also work for one of the big 4 supermarkets so get a 10 - 20% discount off everything anyway. Might change my mind come summer as I can see me buing some big packs of meat for the BBQ
