Watched a recently recorded "8 out of 10 Cats" last night.

Rob Beckett was joking about Jamie Oliver's kids' names, suggesting one was called Spaghetti Pete. When Jimmy Carr read the names of JOliver's kids' names, suddenly Spaghetti Pete didn't seem all that ridiculous!

Saw a post on here about a kid called Dennis - My daughter has a kid called that in her class, it does seem a little odd

My little boy has a mate called 'Arris'. I must stop referring to him as 'Sweaty Arris' in front of him as I'm sure he's gonna call him that one day. His parents can't be cockneys that's for sure.

Jamie Oliver is Top 5 annoying. There's literally nothing about him that is not annoying. It's masterful really.

He is. What's worse for me is that two people on two separate occasions have said I look like him.

Not sure if it really helps much, but when they say "You look like an idiot/ahole/tosser etc." they don't specifically mean Jamie Oliver.

Cobie Nero. Father wanted the kids initials to be same as his, so he could pass on a cheap £300, personalised reg plate!

There was a woman on 15 to 1 yesterday named Mairhead ,pronounced Mirade.

Didn't catch an accent but possibly Irish descent ?

Mairead is a traditional Irish name. Just like Ciomhe, Aiofe, Eaimearr, Grainne...

Thought so but it was definitely spelt with a H ,it was on her name badge.

I caught a couple of seconds of that while channel surfing, can't remember if her name had an H or not, but I won't argue.
Can't see anything wrong in her name, just a nice Irish one, pronounced Mirade as has been said.
Other nice Irish girls names are, Aoife, EEfa, Saoirse, SEERsha, Sorca, SORca, Niamh, NEEuhve, and Róisín, ROEsheen.
Just my opinion of course.

My divisional head office is in Co. Kildare so we get some of the weird & wonderful Irish names. I thought I'd seen 'em all but we recently had a lass by the name of Ailbhe (Al-ver) started with us. Nowt up with it, mind; just one I'd not seen before.
