That's not bizarre. This is bizarre:

The mouse guys are amateurs when it comes to strange taxidermy. I've spent the last 2 months humming and haying over buying it. The main thing holding me back is the fact that I know it will frighten me badly on an almost nightly basis.

Ray-ban aviators.

Nothing wrong with my old sunglasses but damn.....these things could make susan boyle look good. Have an urge to put Kenny Loggins Highway to the dangerzone on the stereo every time I put them on. THEY MAKE ME AWESOME!!!!

You bugger! Just as I think I'm about to get through a month without a frivolous purchase (other than all big sweet shop jars of sweets I ordered a few nights ago) you've gone and alerted me to the existence of these. 5 ordered. At least it's not a dead thing this time, I suppose.
What do you reckon then? Or did you sober up & return them? biggrin

Nice but Dim would be my mini-review.

I've got suckered into the Torch thread elsewhere in the forum.

I've got one one these on the way as a christmas present http://dx.com/p/trustfire-x8-xm-lt60-5-mode-1000-l...

I've then gone on to buy 4 different AAA sized torches to try as key ring additions.

Then I found these anodised titanium split rings http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk/Anodized_Ti_Split_R...

And a titanium tritium key ring, just because... http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk/product/tec-t3

So I'm in the process of pimping my house and car keys!

I'm trying to justify why I need a titanium drinking straw and some titanium chop sticks now.

I've just bought a Nikon D5100 and am now going to be spending large amounts of money on lenses, filters etc. etc. I'll reserve judgment on whether this is frivolous until I measure the amount of dust on it in 12 months. I really hope there is none...

There shouldn't be any, because I'm sure you'll have bought a couple of bags/boxes to keep it in. wink

Arrived a couple of days ago, charged for 90 mins, immediately flew it into the TV so put it back in the box. Decided the next outing will be in a larger space than my living room

I've been seriously thinking of buying one. I know it will not get used after the 1st week, but I really WANT one.

That's the perfect three word review. Fortunately I like to keep my house quite dark so they suit me fine but I wouldn't want them as anything other than mood lighting.

I bought a red laser sight for my air rifle. It was cheap tat (£4.20) from China and I'm fairly sure that it's not at all accurate and keeps going out of alignment.

I am certainly more accurate aiming using the standard scope than using the laser.

But I have an air rifle with a frickin laser beam. Yeah, you heard, a frickin laser enabled air rifle!

You need to strap one of the ones from the OP to it...

Read 36 pages, are you mad? But hang on, you we're the original poster. And you've just referred to yourself in the 3rd person, or possibly 4th?

Does this mean that it was actually me, meaning you, that bought that. Again?

Apologies, I meant it as in original post biggrin

I like your description more though. Eccentricity is a rare commodity these days.
