Those SJ4000 and SJ5000 cameras are great. I got a SJ4000 WIFI a short while back to use when I finally get the TVR back on the road and also so that I can inspect the Koi in the pond.

Although the the SJ4000 is inspired by the Go-pro, you need to be careful as there are a lot of fake copies of SJ4000 around. There is also another SJ5000 that a company released that has nothing to do with the company that did the SJ4000. There is now an official SJ5000.
There is a big thread (200+ pages) over on RCGroups.com about the SJ4000 with people looking to use them on quadcopters. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20...

I've R&C'd a Fitbit Flex for pickup at PC World tomorrow, their 'black friday' offer meant it was down to £59.99.
Not bad considering it is £79.99 on the FitBit UK website and usually £69.99 at PC World.
I bought mine for £64 in CostCo a few months ago. You have to be so savvy these days on prices. Not bad considering it is £79.99 on the FitBit UK website and usually £69.99 at PC World.
I've just gone and bought myself a new (secondhand) telescope. Scope number 6 for me..
It's a 12" Skywatcher Flextube Dobsonian, and I got it at a steal with a few premium eyepieces as well. Even more surprisingly, the usual curse of clouds for new astro gear had not come true - the night I brought it home was the clearest night on a night I wasn't working, so far this year and I got to see some very interesting things in the sky that I had not seen before.
Now to put a few of the older scopes up for sale to make room in my kitchen for them... Anyone for a high quality optics computer controlled 8" Newtonian scope?

I'm presuming, from the photos of it next to a tablet, a phone and a coffee cup, that it's going to be slightly longer than a phone and several times thicker?
In my instance, I didn't look at those photos. It's not an issue but I thought it would be half the size.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Omaker-Exterior-10000mAh-B...

Anyway, for a 'true' 10,000mAh, I'm guessing it contains 4 x 18650 batteries, which explains the size.
If you want a smaller one, pick up a unit that contains a single 18650 battery, but will obviously only be around 2500mAh.
I've bought a couple of cheap powerbank housings from China which take a single 18650 and bought two 3700mAh 'Torchy' badged Panasonic batteries off the bay to go inside.
(I may or may not have also bought a couple of Omaker powerbanks from the above link also...)

I had thought it was smaller, but oh well. I'm sure that one of us will be carrying a rucksack!
