Heads up for anyone who's pre ordered the Vandy Vape Pulse 80w

https://youtu.be/aDHl61EDLks

Looks like Voopoo have screwed Tony B & VV and after delaying the chips release then upping the price by 15% then delaying again and upping it to 30% and then finally saying they're pulling the plug and releasing their own 80w squonk mod.

Sounds like it's still getting made but with the VV chip instead. Not sure where we stand now on pre orders? I still getting one but disappointed it's not coming with the Gene chip. DNA75c would have been a nice choice but would bump the price right up frown

Shady as fk business practice by Voopoo. wkers.

That pretty much sucks pork balls. Gutted for VV & Tony B, will it stop me buying the new version with the VV chip? Hell no. Will it stop me buying any mod that has anything to do with Voopoo? Hell yes!

Been reading the thread for a while, as far back as someone recommending ‘Hellfire’ juice actually (thanks for that, lovely juices!)

Just thought I’d add my 2p as for those struggling with reliability and leaking, I’m using a Cleito 120 tank on a wismec RX200s and it’s brilliant. Running 0.16ohm coils at 90w. Batteries last all day and with the bigger tank it’s great. Brought the RX200s through Gearbest, cost about £25!

Hmmm trust a scaremongering american site that doesn't state what the substances are or how much they found (Usually when these harmful substances are found, they're well below the FDA daily exposure limits). Or trust the royal physician and other UK health advisers that say there's a much lower risk and no current evidence that they are anywhere near as unhealthy as cigarettes

Quite. I work with a lot of Americans and they hoover this st up. It's all scaremongering for clicks and/or funded by Philip Morris and Co to keep them on the analogues. It should be a surprise though when you look at how many are anti-vax because they contain Mercury!!?!1!

Cracking little squonking rda here for any mtl fans

Vandy Vape Beserker.

Also picked up a SXK Rose Trillium clone, looks like it can take a load of different coils this thing! What’s the best coils to go for?

Hi, been using a vape for a bout 2 years.

Have an eleaf istick TC40W with a melo 2 tank which I have had for about a year and a half. I think its been great, but I have nothing to compare it to! I like it as it fits in my pocket, the tank holds a lot of juice and the batteries also used to last all day.

So now the batteries are on the way out its time for a replacement.

I started looking at a Smok alien and Smok G2 but am put off by it not being recommended to charge by USB and what I've read on here about coils.

A quick read through that last few pages of this thread and Im thinking of a Aspire Cleti 120 (like the capacity) and a Wismec of some sort?

I want some thing thats not to big, easy to refil and clean, holds a lot of juice and can be charged with a generic usb cable.

Any suggestions?

Just check out the cost of replacement coils, they are not cheap.

Avoid the smok alien - had one for a year and it wasn’t until I got my aspire Atlantis evo that I realised just how crap the smok was.. flavour and coils so much more consisten in the Atlantis

Would not buy another smok product...

Thanks, which coil are you using in that tank and which mod?

I’ll never buy SMOK products again. TFV8 leaks like crazy, got loads of tanks/drippers/rta’s here and nothing leaks as much as the v8. Spent a fortune on coils and every single one has leaked. Wasn’t a cheap tank either!

The Alien was great for a couple months then started playing up, the down button stopped working so had to use it in memeory mode only and only 10w increments, that lasted just over 3 months before it completely died.

I bought an IPV6x last year, can’t fault it but there’s probably better kit out now. The Sigelei Fuchai 213 is decent enough but it’s crap in TC mode. Fine in power mode though, I usually vape up to 60w max so it does me, have read it’s more like a 150odd watt mod though and no where near it’s claimed 213w?

I'm happy with my smok mag, I'll admit that I have the odd leak, but it's generally because I've been a tit.

Strip it down, clean the seals, fit fresh if you can, clean the threads and reassemble.

Same here regarding the Smok Alien and shall never buy any of their products again after reading so many complaints, mine stopped detecting there was a tank fitted.
Went for a recommendation if not mistaken made by Stevo and got a Joyetech evic primo to accompany my Kayfun v5, very happy.

I have had one since May 2017 and still going strong. Only used in power mode and only at 30W. Very happy, can't see me changing it anytime soon.

Yeah I’m happy with mine, it’s rubbish in TC but working fine in power mode and I vape mainly Ni80 now. I had mine cheap in the TPD sales, think it was £25!! Bargain!

Have you got a Squonker yet Cotty? I had the Beserker dripper yesterday, excellent little rda for MTL squonking.

No im pretty settled now and I am worried about blowing through tons of juice. I just use a Kanger top tank mini, 0.5ohm on the Sigelie. I don't even carry a vape during the day and only use it when I am having a beer at home. Juice is Gunpowder by Lancashire Steam company at 3mg nicotine. Unless something breaks im not going to change anything.

For the love of god do not buy it. I hate mine. The battery compartment flap at the bottom is a stupid design. The slightest knock when you put it down on a surface and the batteries pop out flying everywhere. The lip which holds it in isn't designed big enough.

Which is a shame, because apart from that its brilliant.

I've got a Fuchai Squonk with a TigerTek Morphe on top. Making my own coils now, bang em out at .5 and run it about 45Watts, really good little set up

Shortfills have brought the price of juice right down as well but there are people trying to stop them. Off to VapeJam with a mate who has a business after Easter will get some pics
