Awesome cheers. Mines on order, going for the black Skull one (so all black) with a Brass Cleito Eco, should have it by the end of the week.

Good choice, the black skull one is probably the coolest, was out of stock when I got mine. One tip - if you get a 'check battery' notice when you press the fire button just take the batteries out and turn them round. It's a fairly known issue so likely a software bug when reading battery charge or something. I've only had it happen once, switched the battery places and it cleared it.

Cheers for the tip thumbup

I'm getting mine through a mate who runs his own site so hoping the black one is obtainable, although they are going to be selling the sleeves seperately so you should be able to grab a black one at somepoint

I've got an Arms race with a Joytech Ornate as my larger setup - only got it as my Vaporesso Tarot Pro is a bit slim for the Ornate and didn't like the way it sticks out.

I'm less happy with the Naultilus X - even with new coils its just not tasting right - going to wait for my local shop to get the iJoy Elf - seems functionally similar to a naulits 2, but looks a lot nicer imo !

Think I've decided on a Smoant Battlestar to pair with the Crown 3 - just need to wait for payday and get some batteries sorted!

The Battlestar does get very good feedback from people, good choice I think

For those who make their own. Are we seriously going to be buying nicotine concentrate in ~10ml bottles going forward?

What an absolute farce.
Actually this seems like one of the least of the problems with the new rules.

10ml bottle plus 100ml of goo is going to make you 110mls of liquid once you've mixed it. Pretty rare for anyone to be buying bottles larger than that even under the previous rules.

Yes 10ml nicotine into a 100ml bottle will give you 110ml but the strength will be 1.8mg. I vape 6mg so would need to add 33.3ml of 18mg nicotine, this will seriously dilute flavour. I plan on buying four litres of 72mg nicotine this week and have half a litre in the cupboard, should last me and the Mrs for years.

Ah right I stupidly assumed the nicotine you would buy in 10ml bottles would be stronger. But then that would make no sense in terms of the new rules

20mg/ml is the maximum strength from May 20th but vendors will be selling at 18mg/ml so as not to impinge on the 20mg/ml limit. Same happens at the moment with nicotine as the legal strength is 75mg/ml but you can only purchase at 72mg/ml.

I now mix solely with pre-mixed concentrates from https://www.mixshop.co.uk/ - 20% flavouring (30ml is £9.49) 72% VG and 8% Nicotine gives me 150ml of high quality liquid at 6mg strength and 72% VG for less than £11. The 4.5 litres of Nicotine should last us circa 6 years at current strength/usage levels.

Might as well share my super simple all day vape recipe if more people are keen on DIY. If you get Nicotine in VG suspension, the 18MG stuff should affect it too much, you will just need to work out how much more of that you need and how little base liquid

10ml Ripe Strawberry
10ml Dragon Fruit
5ml Sweet Cream
6ml 48mg Nicotine in PG (Currently - Future will be 15ml 18mg in VG)
Fill to top with Pure VG

This is in 100ml bottles @ roughly 3mg and is ready to vape after a good shake but gets less fruity and more creamy the longer you let it steep

No need to stock up. Just noticed my unintentional pun, too. hehe

Luckily for those that make our own there is a solution!

The laws preclude "tobacco related businesses" from selling nicotine in strengths over 10mg I think but if the company has nothing to do with e-cigs or tobacco they can sell it in any size and strength they want.

If anyone wants more info send me a PM - I'd prefer not to post publicly for fear that somehow the site will be affected, and I don't want it to be biggrin

Does the nicotine lose its strength over time? I thought I read that one year was the maximum recommended storage duration.

Yes but can last years if you freeze it. When it goes off it's got a slight peppery smell to it and goes a darker colour. For storage I'd get....

1ltr pg nic from Dark Star
http://www.darkstarvapour.co.uk/shop/72mg-nicotine...

Then 10x glass amber bottles from here, label them 1-10 then double bag each one in small freezer bags, keep one out to use and freeze the other 9. Just have to take one out at a time then and freeze the rest and work your way through them smile

This is very complicated!

Having been reading reviews I think I am going to order this kit. It seems to get reviews as good as much more expensive products. At £37 it's more expensive that I thought I'd pay, but it's worth it if it gives a better experience than a cheaper unit.

https://www.pure-eliquids.com/xeo-void-vaporizer/

Do you think this is suitable? Mum isn't going to want one that's complicated or involves a lot of faffing around. The one she had before was a tiny one that looked like a cigarette, but that was a bad experience, though that was mainly due to the horrible taste.

Out of the flavours included with the Xeo Void, which ones do you think I should order? I was thinking about getting a normal tobacco flavoured one with the unit. Which one would be most cigarette like?

Then ordering a variety of flavours from here:

https://www.vapemate.co.uk/eliquid/eliquid-sample-...

I was thinking, butterscotch, cappuccino, coconut, menthol and Scottish shortbread.

I was going to get 3mg strength and 50% VG since she usually only smokes half a cigarette at a time and she doesn't seem to generate clouds of smoke usually. Also, it makes her feel sick when she smokes too much.
I received the Xeo Void today and the liquids. I didn't get a liquid bundled with the Void as I misunderstood the website, so now she only has the Vapemate flavours to try.

I fired up the butterscotch to make sure it all works and it tastes like smoke with a bit of caramel to me. Slightly sickly. I'm a non-smoker and feeling a little light headed now hehe I think the crackling sound is going to put her off. It's a bit scary and I'm worried I might take in some liquid.

I didnt realise it would be such a pain to switch between different liquids because some must stay in the atomizer. Has anyone got any tips to do this or is it really not going to be that bad if she just rinses out the last few drops of butterscotch from the tank and refills with coconut or cappuccino?

The machine itself is nicely made and attractive in a nice shade of blue. Not very hygienic that you don't get a cap for the mouthpiece. You have to press a button when you want to inhale. The manual is not clear if you should tap the button and then inhale or hold it whilst you inhale.

When it comes to changing flavours i just run mine down low and then top up with the new flavour, after a few puffs the new flavour will come through fine.

She'll know when a coil needs changing as it'll taste st, until that point i wouldn't bother

Most of them you need to hold the button whilst vaping

Definitely hold down the while you draw on it

It shouldn't taste like smoke though at all, any burning taste would suggest to me that the coil wasn't primed properly before the first drag. Make sure, with a new coil, that you drop 3/4 droplets of liquid in the coil and leave it in a full tank for a few minutes before you start. also covering the airflow hole and giving a few short puffs will draw liquid into the coil (You'll see bubbles of air coming out into the tank if it is wicking properly)

Thanks Keyser and J8. I put a few drops into the atomizer, but I didn't fill the tank completely. I only went about half way full in case she wanted to try a different flavour. It popped and cracked quite loudly at first, but seems to have settled down a bit.

I was a bit freaked out by when I woke up the next morning the night after testing it, I had an urge to "test" it again before leaving for work eek

I remember some one had an istick/eleaf pico combination. I was looking at them the other day as a good out of the house set up. Any owners or ex-owner have any thoughts, any good?

Friend of mine had one and swore by it.

Had a few goes and it was a pretty decent set up.
I finally ordered one. Its tiny, going to be great for walking around
