I've been squonking for 18 months, but on a regulated mod - squonking is fab smile

I'd avoid the Druga kit though, great RDA, st mod https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io-lLpuE5Ag
Strange, I know two guys with one, both love the mod but have changed to a different rda, maybe he got a bad one?
Another poor review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhEtO560PG8&t=... based on the quality and asking whether it was too cheap?

This guy was asked by the manufacturer not to review it all, he thought they were going to withdraw it from the market but they continued selling it, so he slated it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cuc7j4MlaGs

There is far better out there for similar/a bit more money.

Recently started vaping and so far have been cigarette free for 2 months!
Not having much luck though with flavours so hopefully someone here can offer some kind advice.
I've got the Neon box mod with Uwell crown kig however I'm now using the Inokin iSub tank with Stainless steel 0.2ohm atomisers.
I've tried multiple sub-ohm e-liquids (70% VG usually) but a common issue I have is after 2-3 days I start to loose the taste. It starts to taste bland or sometimes metallic.
Perhaps I've burnt the atomiser with too high wattage? I was using up to 28W but now trying to keep it to about 20/22W. I don't really use Temperature control and usually in Power mode on the mod.
Just wondering what I can do to improve vaping experience.

22 watts at 0.2 ohms sounds low to me. I run 0.5 ohms at 40 to 45 watts.

Might be a factor. If you were burning it I'd expect you to taste burning, so it doesn't sound like that.

Interesting... The instructions on the tank says recommended power 20-30 watts although that was on 0.5ohm coils it came with.
What power would you recommend? I've tried 28W max and the tank gets very hot.

Do you have the airflow right open (assuming its adjustable) and are you sucking hard enough? With some tanks you've got to really hoof the air into your lungs to get the best out of them. With sub ohm you need to inhale directly to lung as well and not do mouth to lung.

Yes airflow is max and I suck as hard as I can wink Mostly mouth to lung I suppose just same style as well I used to smoke cigarettes. Deep breaths then exhales. Hardly get the flavour though.

I've tried a few different e-liquids and so far have the same issue regarding flavour. My first e-liquid (think it was called Heavenly Custard? Nice bottle almost £16 for one) with the original tank (Uwell) which came with mod did have mostly consistent flavour when I use TC with Nickel coil. However really want to try another flavour.

I'm just wondering if it's something I've got wrong in the form of perhaps choice of e-liquids (gone for sub-ohm eliquids 70%VG), tank/coil or perhaps settings (wattage/TC) etc. I've ordered some Nickel coil (have Stainless Steel at the moment) so hopefully that will make a difference.

Are there any set rules regarding wattage based on coils or e-liquid types?

edit: Silly me, on the packaging of the atomiser it does say recommended wattage 30-60 so I guess I need to be brave and try 30W

That's not a mouth to lung take so thats why it's getting too hot and you're not getting much flavour. Worth getting an aspire K3 tank and some triton mini 1.8ohm clapton coils to see if that works better for you (Not a large outlay) dedicated mouth to lung tank with great flavour and plenty of vapour (You might need 6-12mg juice though)

Thanks for the suggestion. I will have a gander and order one. Noticed it doesn't have airflow control and also not sub-ohm. Wouldn't sub ohm produce more flavours?

Doesn't need airflow control as it's already well set up for mouth to lung vaping and sub ohm has nothing to do with flavour, just with the amount of vapour (don't need that much for mouth to lung, a stiff airflow and nice nicotine throat hit and taste is more important).
The surface area of a coil will dictate the amount of flavour and as the Triton mini coils are claptons, they have lots of surface area and produce a really good flavour smile

If the airflow control is a real concern, you can still order the triton mini tanks from china https://www.gearbest.com/rebuildable-atomizers/pp_...

Or even the OG nautilus mini which is fantastic but looks a bit weird these days https://www.amazon.co.uk/Aspire-8241V-Nautilus-Min...

Where are people getting their juices these days?

I've had an order off vapeabox.com who have some nice stuff in 100ml flavours that you add nicotine shots to and that's fine with me. Looking for good flavours and the possibility to order larger amounts without paying ridiculous money for it. Vapeabox has 100ml for a £9.99 (I think).

Any recommendations?

Sleekit do it for me.
100ml (effectively) for about £17

I've been getting mine from vapegoo, quite a few people here seem to have had bad experiences with them but they work for me, I don't really have a sweet tooth and they're much less sweet than most I've tried, I find supposed premium juices far too sweet. I really want some decent savoury flavours but it seems like that's not possible.

You can get 6x120ml 3mg for £55 and 6mg for £65, my favourites so far have been razzleberry, nerdz and heisengoo.

That being said, my first order took a month or so to taste nice, they were quite harsh until I'd let them sit for a while, the second were good to go as soon as they arrived.

Manabush shortfills for me, just add nicotine and away you go - they have a black friday deal on just now at 35% off site wide, using POTV12 gives another 12.5% off. Makes a 100ml shortfill about £16, which is a bargain for top notch juice.

make my own these days. Costs a little at the start but i bought 5 liters of VG and i have used half over a year i think. I just buy the concentrate flavours as it guarantees the flavour is good. Add vg/pg/nicotine.

usually buy vampire vapes heizenberg concentrate at 9.99 and make 180ml from it. I forget to factor in the vg and pg and nic as i bought them last year in bulk.

bought the VG and PG in bulk from here.

Thanks so much for the brilliant advice smile My last mod was the ARC 4 kit which is great but I wanted Temperature Control and sub ohm capability as I've heard it gives much of depth (hit) and flavour compared to what the ARC 4 is capable of. Besides even with the screws removed on the ARC flow it still doesn't have the airflow of my current setup which I much prefer.
The tank and coil (non sub ohm) you've recommended seems to be going back to my ARC 4 setup hence my question.
I suppose for 1.8ohm clapton I need to power Power (Wattage) control as opposed to TC?

I get mine from Electric Tobacconist which was great range, price and delivery however last batch noticed all 3 bottles have seals broken so really looking for other alternatives.
