Thanks for the info guys regarding the K5, shall try some of the coils you recommended when I have the time.
Tend to build a coil and it lasts most probably 3 months or so and all I do clean the coil and change the wick every so often and all is well again,
Regarding the leaking, I had read that the rubber washers that came with the clones was not up to standard so bought a couple of sets of originals however that did not cure them either.
Mine is 50/50 mixture.
My K5 arrived earlier, like a tit I forgot to lube the two o rings in the deck to make sure the juice control is nice & free to turn, opened up the juice control and it unscrewed the tank section and pissed juice everywhere!!

Got it sorted now, it’s really good. 0.9ohm Fused clapton and it’s right up there with my Rose 3 for flavour. I think I prefer this to the prime but haven’t got the wicking sorted on that yet. The Prime can get a much tighter draw though, I might get the airflow tubes for this to see how well they work.

Re coils his Fused Claptons are £5 a pair or three pairs for £10. I’ve got a pair of his Aliens in my Dead Rabbit with the Pulse squonker. These are great!!

Yes the airflow is a step backward when compared to the previous kayfuns which had really nice tight draws, saying that after a while I got used to it with setting 2.
Seen the tubes but never bothered tbh as got used to it pretty quick and the wicking was more an issue at the time and still is to be honest.
Shall get stuck into those coils when I have time but planning on building a new pc over the xmas hols.

I'm ordering my first squonk from Gearbest next week, going for a regulated, torn between the Aleader Killer and Sigelei Fuchai at the moment, any squonk on here?

Going for the Tigertek Morphe RDA as a mate has it and likes it

Spend a wee bit extra and get the Hotcig RSQ80 - it's price fixed in the UK at £59.99 but 3Fvape have it coming soon for $51.99. Reviews suggest it's the best of the current budget regulated squonkers, and one I have my eye very firmly on http://www.3fvape.com/search?controller=search&amp...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAbkyahlqNo

Can't speak for the aleader but the Sigelei only has a 5ml capacity and doesn't accept aftermarket squonk bottles which are usually 7ml+. It also doesn't get anywhere near the advertised 150w. You'd be better off with a standard mod and 5ml tank instead of the Sigelei IMO

Any views on a decent, relatively compact e-cig?

Have been happy with the aspire Plato I have had 3 of. Sadly these have all now packed up and I wonder what the latest and greatest is?

Mouth to lung vaper at about 15w if it makes any odds.

I had been looking at the RSQ. I was going for the Sigelei as it'll take 20700 rather than a single 18650, the bottles are an annoyance though.

I really wanted the Capo but some of the reviews aren't great.

I'm thinking about a regulated squonker too

I wasn't aware of the hotcig until now, love the size of it.

Looking at the GBOX 200w from Geekvape for at home use

https://www.gearbest.com/vv-vw-mods/pp_630460.html one of these mods (Needs an 18650 battery or two and an external charger but this means it can't just 'die' becuase the battery is done)

https://www.gosmokefree.co.uk/aspire-k3-tank/ one of these tanks

https://www.ukecigstore.com/aspire-triton-mini-coi... some of these coils in 1.8ohm clapton form.

Best mouth to lung I've had in 4 years of vaping

I managed to get hold of a Lost Vape Drone BF DNA166. Its a bit chunky but a really well made dual 18650 Squonk mod. I've also got a little Pico Squeeze with a Wasp Nano RDA on it for times when I dont want to take the Drone out with me ( The drone is a heavy bit of kit! )

Brilliant stuff - have ordered that set up. Many thanks.

Any recommendations on an external charger too? Must say I have always charged from the device in the past but would be useful to have one on charge and one on the go.

Also, any recommendations for a battery supplier? Again, in the past these have come with battery.

I get my batteries from Fogstar, he usually has a ‘fogstarfriday’ deal every Friday that I think gives 20% off. 18650.co.uk is also a good dealer but haven’t used them yet.

All depends on how many amps your drawing but I tend to use LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q’s in my regulated mods (18 & 19A limit and 3000mah) and stick with LG HB2 & HB6 in my mechs (30a & 32a limit but only 1500mah) Basically the higher the Mah (run time) the lower the amps (safety limit) you can use. Samsung 25R’s are also good, I think these are 20A & 2500mah. Sony VTC5A also good but expensive.

There’s also the new Vapcell 18650 but haven’t tried this, it’s 1800mah & 30A.

https://www.fogstar.co.uk/collections/batteries/18...

Chargers I’ve got a Gyrfalcon 8 bay which is excellent and can charge 8 18650’s at 1A.....but very big. And use a Xtar SV2 for work which is a 2 bay charger and can charge up to 2A if you wanted to charge a pair quickly, but I usually stick to 1A charge. (The higher amps you charge the less time it takes but also decreases the battery life over time)

And avoid anything with Efest or trustfire. They’re re-wraps of other batteries and the mah & amp ratings are usually BS and waaaaay off whet the actually, stick to genuine LG, Samsung or Sony. Tons of fakes around though so I’d only buy from Fogstar or 18650.

I had a Efest ‘35A’ battery vent on me a couple years ago in a mech, st myself!!!!! No warning, fire button went instantly red hot and whoosh!

For charging I use a Nitecore, I have the 4cell version of this. I think the latest versions have an LCD display, but the older versions with the three lights work fine https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nitecore-Intelligent-Univ...

For batteries try http://www.torchythebatteryboy.com/ Lots of people on UK Vapers forum swear by him. He mainly sells on an Ebay account but used many times very reliable

I can second the Nitecore with LED’s. Cheap and cheerful but it does the job.

Finally got my Kylin RTA working as I want it. Getting through rather a lot of juice though!

I also use torchy on ebay for batteries and a nitecore charger. Mine only charges at 0.5 amps so if I were in the market for another one I'd look for one that charges at 1amp.

I use a Nitecore i2 as well, been faultless in over three years of daily use but there is an updated version that charges at 1amp https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GKO3IQM/ref...

I'm another who only uses Fogstar for my batteries as he is both cheap and sells genuine cells/chargers. There was a big stooshie recently about a company called Next Day Batteries who were selling fake chargers (Nitecore) and batteries - Fogstar and 18650.co.uk replaced the chargers for those who had purchased from NDB at no cost! The links provided for Amazon are to the official Nitecore stockist so no worries about them being fakes.

Samsung 30q will be ideal in your setup as you will be pulling very little amps at 15w https://www.fogstar.co.uk/collections/batteries/pr...

I'm not convinced the battery technology is there yet with 20700 cells and good ones are both expensive and hard to come by; the only real benefit from them currently is for mech users who run super sub ohm as the amp limit is much higher with similar run time to Samsung 30q/Sony VTC6 18650s.

Aye the Capo promised a lot but has been a bit of a wet fart, Sigelei looks decent despite it's flaws/bottle size which really only leaves the Hotcig as far as single cell regulated squonkers go at the moment. Another option is the Geekvape Gbox but it's twin cell and rather large for an everyday carry.

Yeah agree with all that

I'm not 100% sold on Squonking which is the other reason I was looking at Sigelei as on Gearbest it's £32

Going for the Tigertek Morphe RDA as it's got a nice deep juice well and is single coil

I was looking at the GBox until I saw how big it was

Cracking seller bought a few 14500’s a while back for a nemesis mini, sent the wrong ones out replaced them with 2 new ones foc.

Only thing I don’t get is his amp ratings. Has 30q,VTC6 and VTC5A as 30A? I tend to go off Mooch & pegasus vapour academy on YouTube for amp & mah ratings.
