THere may not be a right and wrong here, but..well...there is.
I know it is a stubborn view, but I do not believe that there is anyone who is completely fine with thier wife having sex with another man.
It doesn't really matter what anecdotes anyone tells me, I don't believe them. I accept that some couples make it 'work' somehow, but I dont accept that both parties are completely happy with the arrangement.
Not that it fits with this thread but there are lot of different types of relationships out there that work for lots of different people, you might find "The Ethical Slut: A Roadmap for Relationship Pioneers" an interesting read.

I see exactly what you mean, but I wouldn't expect them to be completely happy, it's just one way forward from a range of choices, none of which both parties are going to be completely happy with. If there was a better solution available fair enough, but in some cases, possibly this one, mmaybe there isn't.
Agreed, just in my opinion there will *always* be a better way forward than to become a cuckolded whipping boy with no dignity and a wife who expressed contempt for you whilst astride another man.
When characterised like that, I expect you are right.

That's a separate discussion, but there is a difference between "works" and "will be put up with for a period of time by the weaker member of the relationship".

I gather such establishments where this sort of 'service' can be procured are, indeed, expensive...

Doubt she would mind at all.

A different topic for another day but it has always amused me that even the most vacant of entertainers can sometimes drop a pearl of wisdom that makes you think. That is one of the quotes that it rarely far from my mind when making life choices.

Works on many levels as well.

Totally off-topic... but that quote may actually be a re-phrasing of a Marlon Brando remark from the 50s!

I'm not sure if it will stand as a legal argument JAYB but best of luck.

Must be being slow today as the (doubtless intentional) irony of JYB's post has only just hit me...

Well, as this thread draws to a close I can't help hoping that ABD has forgotten about us, stepped away from his computer and is trying to decide how his life is going to go on without the aid of the sad bunch of internet no-hopers left on here.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge yourself like that...

PH still loves you too.

Guys, please - this thread is in danger of being locked if we don't behave, and that would be a real shame as ABD has found it useful.
