If you live in Alaska or somewhere with proper snow I'll forgive you those, but your profile says Cambridgeshire!g3org3y said:

Pretty tempted by these for driving - I love the Puma Motorsport Suede series, but some of the new designs are either horrible, or Ferrari branded. However as a 28 year old, I'm concerned I might look a bit stupid if I pop into the local supermarket with the below ... What do you think? Any other suede driving (thin soles, narrow) shoes worth considering before I hit 'buy'?
bit pricey but omp's vintage shoes look reasonable under jeans. if youopt for the sparco's don't bother with full race boots, karting boots are just as good yet much cheaper. i use sparco kart boots for trackdays.Rawwr said:

Well they arrived the other day. Possibly the most comfy things I've ever put on my feet. It was like sliding my feet into two tubs of marshmallows.soad said:

Picked these up when I was in Tokyo from a shop called Scotch Grain - love them. (Crap photo, sorry)

Please don't wear those within a five mile radius of me
I think we both know it's too late for that.Gretchen said:

Because I'm not a teenage mum taking her kids to school with a fag hanging out of my mouth? In all seriousness, they only get worn when it's dark outside and nobody can see me
I'm after some recommendations. My last couple of pairs were Jones Chukka boots, the first pair lasted forever and are still going strong although a little tatty now, the second pair was a bit disappointing and the upper is coming away from the sole on one of them after what I consider to be not much use.
Cobbler has said it will be £35 to fix, so I'm thinking I might as well buy some new ones. Budget is about £100, could stretch to slightly more for the perfect pair. I'm leaning toward Loake at the moment, any other suggestions? Also where is best / cheapest to buy them from?
