a M2M or bespoke suit shouldn't have a belt as the intention is that it fits you perfectly. The stigma of the belt (for some) is that you are advertising that you bought off-the-peg and it doesn't quite fit. That said, I think suit trousers look weird without a belt and I am sure I am not alone. The last M2M suit I had made i spec'd belt loops. If the suit looks good and fits well then that's the main thing. If you've got an awful baggy suit with wrong length legs and arms then a belt isn't going to cause or solve your problems.
It's very much cultural and historically driven, I think.

As mentioned before, in the Continent brown shoes and belts are totally fine, in fact I don't think I've ever seen anyone NOT wearing a belt with a suit in Italy, it's just the done thing. Side tabs to my eyes are are an exclusively (and very) British thing.

Also brown shoes are paired more tastefully in Italy IMHO, they usually tend to be much darker (testa di moro or dark burgundy) and are mainly worn with blue suits or more summery suits (cream linens etc.). You don't really see any pointy tan shoes (wannabe City traders-style) in Italy. Obviously shoes and belts should match 100%.

I don't have any shoes to contribute. Shall I post some more photos of HRH's shoes to get the thread back on topic? hehe

Why do you think I'm going all the way to Glasgow? I've been waiting for years for someone to express an interest in my thong and waders outfit, this is an opportunity not to be missed smile

Anyone successful in reserving Yeezy Boost 350 V2s?

I was on the app, clicked within microseconds of it going live... and didn't get any.

Splashed out on 2 pairs from A Farley. Got sent a voucher for 30% off for old styles, weirdly if I bought an old style and a new style it worked for both pairs so managed to get both pairs for £308.

Will post actual pics at the weekend.

Well, my plan was to immediately resell them for 4x the RRP, so maybe I deserved to miss out.

Good plan, you wouldn't want to actually wear them.

Do you suppose that someone used some kind of sniping software to get them ahhead of you?
