Want a pair of these next.. As worn by Steve McQueen and Daniel Craig in SPECTRE
Does the fact they were product placed in a film make any difference?

Look like the sort of thing worn by David Niven in Casino Royale.

Not to me it wouldn't though I am not a fan of Steve McQueen, James Bond or crepe soles so clearly I am not their target audience.

I don't see anything wrong with them just maybe a bit gimmicky if they are bought for that reason.

Agreed. I mean what kind of guy would buy an Aston Martin because they have been in James Bond films........ oh wait...... quite a few on here! hehe I do wonder where Aston would be now if they had chosen something else for the films.

Totally, if you wear something James Bond wore, you're at least a bit like James Bond aren't you? hehe

I quite like those, but is that sole for real? Looks platform.

interesting. They're like cool desert chukka boots but with really mongy massive solves stuck on.

Nice choice. My favourites at the moment are my black / white Spezials - I'm wearing them a lot right now.

Steve McQueen wasn't in SPECTRE...

Quite like them though. I can't see past the classic Clarks desert boots but they're quite cool too...

No, not at all, just thought their history was interesting. Apparently Daniel Craig is a big McQueen fan and wears a lot of his type of gear. I like that they are a smarter desert boot style. The sole kind of runs up and around the sides rather than being too built up.

I rate those! I don't own any Spezials but they're on my want list. Good luck with a 'small collection' too; the more you see the more you'll want. biggrin Although I'm not sure any of us will have to worry about the size of our collections like arsenalmorris does.

I'm still kicking myself that I didn't get the purple / yellow Spezials when they were available. I always kept putting it off until they were gone everywhere. Must be at least a year now since they were a general release and I'm not keen on paying the resale price for a pair on the back of them using an historic colourway (was it a Malmo variation or something?)

I have the purple./ yellow spezial's, think I have only worn them once. Yea purple with yellow was introduced as a malmo variation and also done under Jap athen (can only dream of owning these, although turned a pair down last week as they was £650) before the more recent Munchen remake (prob my fav)

What sIze foot are you??

Here are mine:

They are awesome! I am looking for a pair with a black sole, any suggestions?

I will not be paying the re-sale prices either (as I cannot afford to), so I will be buying mine on release dates.

Arsenlamorris whats the best sites to look out for? I see size have a good amount of adidas available, do you have any websites/blogs that keep you updated.
Also any pics of your entire collection?

I know I'm going to get a lot of flack for these, but they are for fun and already going for three times the original cost on fleabay.
Team GB Olympic closing ceremony shoes made by Simon Jersey. They even have a label telling the wearer to switch them on just before you enter the stadium.
