Very nice!
Interesting seeing all the nail holes, I guess where the maker initially tacked the uppers on to the last at the start of the process?
I'm not sure it would ever be an issue, but can they only re-use a last a certain number of times before there are "too many holes"?
The holes are exactly that. I am aware of customers who have commissioned in excess of 500 pairs all from their original last, so I think I am ok for now, phew. Interesting seeing all the nail holes, I guess where the maker initially tacked the uppers on to the last at the start of the process?

If you think about it the nails/tacks don't actually remove any material like drilling does for example, although there would be a limit to its continued use but I think it would be much more than you would expect.

Wait, what?! a) That's a lot of shoes
b) Isn't that at least £2,000,000?
Regardless, its a useful stat to know if the Wife dares to suggest I might have too many shoes.
I like them. To be worn sockless? What kind of trousers/shorts were you planning to wear them with?
I've only worn my (red) Loake driving moccasins once since purchase. Hopefully will get more opportunity as the summery weather continues.
The recently purchased Barker loafers from a few pages back have had some decent wear of late. In fact, wore the tan ones to work (with socks) last week. Lots of positive feedback.

Yes indeed, to be worn sockless with some nice tailored shorts like my, boss golf tan tailored shorts, or my polo cream 3/4 length baggy shorts.I've only worn my (red) Loake driving moccasins once since purchase. Hopefully will get more opportunity as the summery weather continues.

I might also wear them with my 7 for all mankind brushed denim cream chinos too, I'm hoping it looks like a good simple cool summer look!

I like the shoes but no man should ever wear 3/4 length trousers. Ever.
Sorry I might not have been clear, they are shorts not trousers, so instead of being short shorts, they come to just by your knee. These are the exact model?
