Well we've never seen that on here before.. The end of the Talladega Nascar Nextel Sprint Cup race yesterday.
To explain a little detail. In Nascar, if the race is in its closing stage (less than 10 laps to go) and there is a big caution or issue with the track, the yellow flag laps are still counted but the race is extended if it goes past race distance to what is known as a Green-White-Chequered. Once the caution is cleared, the cars come back to the flag and get a green, they then race a lap, and come back to the line to get a white flag meaning one lap left, and then they get a chequered. If in the case of another accident happens they can will redo the G-W-C up to a set number of times. However, once all the drivers see the white flag, regardless of where it happens or who is involved the race carries on unto a driver passes the chequered.
OK, with that explained, you join at the end of the race at a Green White Chequered situation. Also bare in mind, on the banks the cars are not going any slower than 160ish MPH.
