Does the new office have a roof?

Was that an accident or were you trying to get that car. Good spot.

I worked briefly in an office in Crawley. On my first morning I rang home to check in and my wife said, "Can you see the sea?" I said, "No, I can see Marks and Spencers."

The car. Wasn't easy to miss (was damned noisy until it switched to electric).

As that part of Laaandon goes, there are some good views - if you're in a tall enough building.... from Churchill Place, by any chance? wink

It's not new and it's not mine. Old as it is, I couldn't afford to buy it, not that it would be of much use to me in making kitchens smile

The view straight out of the office looking south over Norbiton and out towards the delights of Tolworth.

The view down, however, is another matter. Below is the London Road, the old A3, now mostly avoided by the Kingston Bypass. This the site of the Fatberg, a 15 tonne accumulation of cooking fat and baby wipes that threatened civilisation at large and the traffic through Norbiton in particular. The work, which has made painfully slow three way lights necessary and is scheduled to take months, is to be postponed around Christmas and resumed in the New Year.

It's not a pretty sight.
