Taking children to McDonalds, is it child cruelty?

It's like the Asda threads...
"I NEVER go in there, but when I do, I make sure I'm in and out fast, with only quality stuff!"
How about a McDonald's INSIDE an ASDA?"I NEVER go in there, but when I do, I make sure I'm in and out fast, with only quality stuff!"

6 year olds with 6 packs?
I knew kids at primary school with visible abdominal muscles. With the certainty only small children can manage, I simply concluded that this was because their families were poor. Didn't help that one of them was called "Beans", because whenever you visited his house, that's what he was eating.

We generally have a Scottish takeaway once or twice a month - and my 10-year-old sons have six-packs.
Acceptable, consistent quality, which is more than can be said for a lot of the garbage people feed their children.

I have the opposite problem to many in that I don't mind the occasional McDonalds. In fact I'll admit it, I actually really like them now and again. There, with one sentence have shot down all my middle class credentials (also I've never been to the Dordogne, but I quite like the quieter parts of Portugal).
Anyway, my son harbours what can only be termed a pathological hatred of McDonalds, he will just not eat there. Consequently his younger sister doesn't like them either. They're happy to have a takeaway curry but a Quarter Pounder with cheese, no thanks. I blame the parents frankly for always having a proper sit down dinner.
