Mr Tom.

Spooning is serious business, culturally, historically and politically. Larking around is the domain of the Forkers.

I recommend you come to a meet, bring a couple of spoons (just ones you like the look of, they don't have to be anything special - even just a Krupp will do) and join inn the chat. You'll either be fascinated, and then will join and come again, or you will be bored stupid and never come again.

I don't think this got the recognition it deserves - excellent play on words by Bob here, reminding us all of that time we had intended to meet at The Whistle and Goat Inn, but a dozen or so attendees had mistakenly followed directions to "The Whistling Goat Supper Rooms about 15 miles away.

Christofle, worth the money?

Intended use is most likely eating yoghurt as I'm worried the tannin in tea may stain them.

Good God man, yogurt? The acid will ruin the patina.

Think you'll find Google have deleted them. Unkind gossip has it that "Whoopsie" O'Brian was involved. I think we all know what that means...

They were redacted because of certain 'historical inaccuracies'. Up until Fremington and the aftermath, there was peace in the valley (or bowl, if you'll allow me). But certain factions have chosen to twist events to suit the provenance of collections, adding falsely to the myths and mysteries.

I think it's a shame that this thread has been infected by those memories - many of which are still very raw. There are many who won't go near a reverse angle Krupp nowadays, and that's a shame.

It's like describing a girlfriend as 'arms, legs, clunge'.

You have much to learn about being a Spoonist.

Who let in the heathen

Next he’ll be saying he doesn’t believe in the need for the stirring vortex rhythm as discovered and refined by S.Cinoist in the spring of 1623 - where’s my torch and pitchfork!
