Which your buyer may also be interested in. Obviously that picture is not mine, mine are in cold storage in Geneva. If it’s who I think it is, I’ll send him a telegram about having these to go along with yours and the Dodi item mentioned previously. What a collection!!
It will of course be the same chap. There's only one major player in Malmo and if he stays true to form I think we're both looking at the fat end of £120k.

Hmmm. I just don’t know if I’m willing to let them go for that. I like to make sure that all of my investments track ahead of the FTSE 100 and letting them go for that may hurt my portfolio.

You have to remember that Charles will be king one day and the price of these will skyrocket, also he will likely abdicate and the prices are only going one way.

I sold my ‘Suits’ collection just last year then that Megan Markle goes and gets with old Ginger Pubes and the values spike right up rolleyes

Disaster.

My Olander 'King Gustavio' has been in a dishwasher, and the patina has been eradicated.

Is it recoverable in less than two centuries?

not my scene man, although I do have a nice Dodi al Fayed commemorative edition I bought from an Egyptian grocer, would go well as a companion piece

I know a guy. I’m sure some may not agree with his methods but he does some fantastic work. I’ve not used him myself but an acquaintance had some work done on a 1932 Roque De Cheveux semi hitch flange and you’d never know. Even fooled the experts.

How on earth did it end up in a ruddy dishwasher? Aren't these dry clean only?
Staffing issues perhaps?

I commissioned this beauty from Mr W.T.Fárk and it took him six months to craft it.

It's for the wife's Christmas present, she is not a spooner but when she sees the craftsmanship that has gone into this spoon she will be a convert iam sure. Since it cost so much it will be her one and only present and i cant wait to see the surprised look on her face !

Come on here claiming all kinds of shenanigans and then show us a picture of a cheap Japanese steel Haikai Tokyo edition from last year!

I don’t think you’re taking this thread seriously, sir.

Reported !

It must be down to jealousy pure and simple. That spoon is an original Fárker and no mistake.

Indeed. It is nearly impossible to find staff properly qualified to handle ones spoons with the proper degree of care. I despair.

I feel quite inadequate.

Gorgeous. My understanding is that Fárk uses traditional Japanese tamahagane or "jewel steel" (tama - ball or jewel, hagane - steel) in the construction. As a result it can be shot through a mahogany door from a cross-bow without picking up the slightest scratch. Careful washing it though, as Fairy Liquid will leave a nasty stain.
