Holding it over a flame to heat something is my guess.

Man walks into a soup spoon shop, realises he is going crazy, leaves. Good man.

At over five feet across the main bowl assembly, it's unlikely to be a Hvålske.

More likely a Spear & Jackson.

Would it be possible for you to go back and capture an image with a bit more reflection in it? There a still a few discernible details visible.

People should have to produce credentials to post on this thread, otherwise we're just going to end up with pages of drivel.

That's a left-handed spoon and Hvalske, as anyone worthy of commenting here would know, only made right-handed and "dexter-fluid" models.

I noticed a series of striations on the bowl of my Teaspoon, to remove them i'm using the hand grinder. It's imperative i don't spin the grinder to quickly or VTEC will kick in ! sparks will fly ! and the Teaspoon will be ruined !!

Its Wimbers!

So, I got my 1934, Krupp "Fred Perry, SW19(b)" out for a spin. The return flanges still work pretty damn well.

Very nice Blib, it's a shame the Teaspoons were banned and the tennis players have to use rackets these days.

There's no room for savagery like that in this thread.

Agreed. Perry won the 1935 mixed doubles with that very spoon.

In honour of the goings on in SW19, I have dusted off my 1886 Emile Puiforcat "Cuillère à fraises numero cinq"

No great loss.
Next time, use a proper squirrel hair muff and do it properly.
