Got my new competition piece for CutleryCon2020 today. It’s a hilarious ‘michael take’ (I think that’s the phrase) against the Fork boys. This’ll kill em.

Whilst driving to the Spoon Lodge at the weekend in my Rolls Royce, the sun glinting from the Spirit of Ecstasy i had a brilliant idea.

Hammer off the Spirit bonnet ornament , melt it down and recast it in the shape of a Teaspoon and attach it to the bonnet of the Defender.

My first impression is that the return flanges will cause huge instability at anything over 37mph. It will either rip the bonnet clean off or send you into the nearest hedge.

I'd stiffen the Defender's suspension to cope, if I were you.

HTH.

Anyone with even the smallest grasp of spoon aerodynamics will know it's been put on backwards. This will cause a small 'stirring' wave, giving horizontal mixing turbulence.

No need to keep that photo of a boring, nondescript collection up on here, Had Ham. You can take it down.

TAKE IT DOWN NOW!!!!!!

(Anyone know how far Much Hadham is from London?)

hehe About 35 miles from central London. Train to Bishops Stortford from Liverpool St, trying to avoid all the tuppenny tourists on the way to Stansted.

I would offer to inspect on your behalf, but the advertiser can best be described as being 'of 'quirky character' , teaspoons being one of her more 'normal' listings.

Given the age and the underlying 'peculiarity' of the residents and their residencies in this lovely little village, I can only image Much Hadham is a teaspoon rich environment, with a great deal to attract the more discerning connoisseur.

So, Had Ham you honestly want us to believe that you just appear with a random listing with THAT spoon nestled in there, that it's just coincidentally in an area you're VERY familiar with for obvious reasons and you're helping other spoonists go and inspect it for what would be the bargain of the century?

Surely I'm not the only one who smells a rat here?

No affiliation, I promise, and I know not of the quality of the specific cutlery (to use a somewhat derogatory term) of which you speak.

Anyway, I'm more of a fork man, myself - but diversity is a 'thing' nowadays, right?

They let me in early on account of my having senior contacts with Greene King and this is where my viewing has been arranged.
