Some years ago I saw Rod Stewart driving on the M25. Gave him a beep/wave and he nodded/smiled back.

he was driving a ferrari F50 with the roof off. epic rock star moment.

Also saw the three Gibb Brothers in a Bentley or Roller type car driving out of some big house near Oxford back in the 80's. Barry was driving.

I've been to Ian Poulter's (the golfer) house, and had a look at his Ferrari collection. We have a mutual friend. He has some lovely cars.

Natasha McElhone of Ronin fame at Cafe Nero in Chiswick High Road. She turned and bumped into me and I spilled my coffee. In the version of events I have edited in my mind over the 10 years since it happened, I think we had a "moment" and will each forever wonder what would have happened if we had stopped and had a chat. I could tell she was into me.. laugh
Did you quickly grab the coffee cup before it hit the ground?

Dies hard.

I stood next to Jonny Wilkinson, having a wee at Twickenham. He was obviously having a bad day, as he didn't want to shake my hand?!

I once saw Alan Pardew talking on the phone whilst driving.

Jim Carrey once tweeted me. As did Sue Perkins.

I once had to find a microphone for the band Slaves when they were supporting a band in a pub I worked in. Spoke to them at a few gigs over the years but they’re a bit st now. Always really nice though.

Once saw Louis Walsh. Someone with a small child on their shoulders shouted ‘Oi, Louis, what were you doing in my son’s bedroom last night?’.

My girlfriend’s, nan’s neighbours are Gary Barlow’s grandparents or auntie and uncle. Can’t remember which.

My mam has had a pint with the bloke who played Darth Vader (in the suit, not the voice).

Nick Cave flagged me off once, pretty sure anyway.

Ooh, just remembered this one. I once saw Al Murray at the cafe in the Baltic in Newcastle. I had a pastrami bagel, not sure what he had. Gallery was crap.

Not surprised you couldn’t remember what he had to eat when you couldn’t even remember the Baltic is in Gateshead.
I’m more concerned about Nick Cave maybe flagging him off,
presumably a euphemism for what I wonder?

Haha, hand shake was after not during. We'd both washed our hands as well!

I shook Bill Clinton's hand once.

An ex-girlfriend (many years ago) of mine was the cousin of Jeff Capes.

I have a tenuous link to this.

I had a passenger ride in that very car before its previous owner sold it to Rod.

I drove Andrew Lloyd Webber's wife around a horse show in a Golf cart once. Is that tenuous enough?

I've had a chat to Guy Garvey of Elbow fame and on another day, Glen Matlock of Sex Pistols fame, both whilst having a pee.

I was quite pissed both times, both weren't but seemed ok about it. biggrin

I sold hundreds of pairs of glasses to people on Chiswick High Road over 30 years.
Therefore it stands to reason I have a connection to both her and you! Double connection!

I've bought a few jackets from the same London shop that Arnold Schwarzenegger gets his jackets from , although I doubt very much he pays for them .
Paul McCartney owns a house in the same town as I live in , as do a few ex footballers .
