On the other hand I met Damon Albarn (sp?) and he was a right obnoxious tt...

My cousin used to be an outside broadcaster journo for the BBC. She's was on telly quite often.

I have a bottle of wine given to me from Lech Walesa, the first democratic president of Poland.

My friend is married to a Miss Finland.

My new neighbors are friends with Jordan, and she keeps parking her monstrosity of a Range Rover outside our house when she visits them.

That's about it.

Once checked into a flight to Ireland behind Keith Duffy in Manchester.

The girls behind the counter were still so excited when serving me, they gave me the wrong boarding pass.

My ex's cousin went to school with Cameron Diaz.

Also, my uncle one owned the bike from Silver Dream Machine, given to him personally by David Essex!

I played against him at schoolboy level in the early/mid 80s. He once kicked me about 15 feet up in the air. His brother Gary broke his leg playing for my old Sunday pub team.

A couple of the members of Smokie stayed at my house at the height of their fame in the 70's - they came to a neighbour's, son's wedding. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my sisters and I were sent to stay with our grandparents to free up beds for them to sleep in so we never ever met them!

I got ignored by Vanessa Mea at Heathrow airport.

Dave Bickers (of Bickers stunts who do all the Top Gear stuff, James bond and other hollywood crap) used to have a shop in Ipswich called "Bickers motorcycles" on Barrack corner. My best mates Dad also had a small motorcycle shop and he was good mates with Dave. We went to Speedway with him once to see the Ipswich Witches, iirc Dave bought me and my mate Paul a burger each.

As a student, I used to work at The Bear in Havant. Petula Clark used to stay there, when seeing her kids at school nearby. It was my job to knock her up in the mornings, with a cup of tea.
