Things that annoy you beyond reason...? [Vol 3]
Discussion
Old bds or others in cars that do 35mph on A roads and when you (correctly) over take them, they suddenly take offence and either speed up or when you do pass, put their lights on main beam.
(Usually the same people that when they reach the 30 mph limit the speed doesn`t actually alter)

Agreed, I had one today who set off from some traffic lights, accelerated at a pace more akin to a horse and cart and then stayed at 25mph. When I moved into lane 2 and started to overtake (it's a 40 limit) I noticed the back end of his car dip slightly as he accelerated to try and prevent the overtake. It didn't work.(Usually the same people that when they reach the 30 mph limit the speed doesn`t actually alter)

Another thing which annoys me, but maybe not beyond reason, is the number of times Safari on the iPad has crashed since the new iOS update. It took three attempts to write this post, and even then I used Google Chrome in the end!

I seem to get this. it's like half the page loads, and only the bit on your screen. If you try to scroll the rest of the page is blank and you need to reload it. Very frustrating. And who on earth decided the bookmarks bar wouldn't disappear any more once you've tapped the site you want to go to? Idiotic idea that one!Another thing which annoys me, but maybe not beyond reason, is the number of times Safari on the iPad has crashed since the new iOS update. Starbucks.
"Would you like Guatemalan beans with that. It's 20p extra?"
"No thanks"
"It's the best"
"Then why not offer it as standard?"
"Er..."
I know why they do it.
I read somewhere that they make something like 36p profit on a standard cappuccino and the bigger
profits come from the fatties on diets ording extras and largeing it up.
They can fook off.
FTFYThe radio in mynew company car.
I'm happy listening to a bit of reception fuzz with LBC, no need to deny me the entire signal in a vain attempt to search for a better one. One time I ended up with Radio 1, the horror.
That and you have to be on the ball with pressing the Stop/Start button to stop it turning off altogether when stationary with the ignition off. I get it is to save battery charge but I checked, its a full 12v there, not three AAAs. Five minutes won't hurt, its only a 1.6 diesel.
Arrgh

Portia is the heroine of William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. A rich, beautiful, and intelligent heiress, she is bound by the lottery set forth in her father's will, which gives potential suitors the chance to choose between three caskets composed of gold, silver and lead.
They do sound similar?

Could it be Portia? Perfectly acceptable although a bit "chattering classes".
our second dog (blonde English Cocker) is named PortiaBut, our first is named Carrera
makes for fun when calling them back.
Course, I am a life long P car fan and had to change the GT3 into something more robust when I was told we 'needed' a dog..
B fking T who have been installing fibre optic cables in my village for months and in doing so have managed to make the existing internet horribly slow.
I keep checking when fibre optic will be available for the answer to always be soon. It's been soon for fking months and I want to play my playstation or watch a film without the connection dropping out.
It was slow before but now it's just unacceptable now there's no alternative.
