I have one car that is worth £250k, no doubt about it. Every year a few of them change hands; it is a relatively liquid and efficient market.
For some reason, my underwriters think it is worth about £85k. I think they must be confusing it with similar but much less rare cars by the same manufacturer. I have explained to the underwriters on multiple occasions that their figure is quite wrong, but for whatever reason they refuse to change it.

I'm currently bored out of my mind in Gatwick airport waiting for my flight to Vancouver (scum class sorry) on my tod.
Play people snooker, see a person wearing red, then find someone wearing a colours, above the waist only. You need to score 100 in 3 minutes, so 15 people in red worth one point each and six people wearing different colours :see a red dressed person between each colour, then yellow (2 points), green (3), brown (4), blue (5), pink (6), black (7).
Passes 10 minutes, kids love it too. Just dont let them shout out for what colours they are looking for, gets embarassing.
Score 147 and your flight will arrive.
One of my neighbours, a really nice chap, is self-employed, but has had to give up work since his wife and daughter were blown up in the Manchester Arena suicide bomb attack.
His daughter was not too badly affected physically, but who knows how she is feeling about witnessing the carnage at the scene?
His wife almost died at the scene with devastating injuries but she was saved from bleeding to death by the rapid intervention of first responders at the venue.
She has recently been transferred from Salford Hospital to Southport Spinal Injuries Specialist Care Unit, an hour and a half drive each way. Her prognosis is uncertain at this stage.
On top of all this, her husband is now worried about the car park charges each time he visits her.
I have told him help is available, but he doesn't want to make a fuss.
I think this, coupled with the plight of the Grenfell Tower victims, bereft and now homeless, is a an example of the worst first world problems anyone could face.
Could be worse I suppose.
In Syria and the Yemen and such places, things are much much worse every single day.
Sorry, but I just wanted to get it off my chest.
Carry on.

i agree my mate has just lost his wife after two years on and off with cancer, having a baby at the start. Besides all the money issues etc it is just the start really.Carry on.
went round my mates and started he talked about the last 2 weeks in a hospice, i honestly nearly lost it , what he described was truly awful.
then he said, she must have known about the cancer but choose not to say anything as they might have aborted her son, so in effect her descion to have a life cost hers, the ultimate sacrifice and took it to the grave as to protect my mate.
For all the real problems out there stay strong and remember life is precious, help those that need it even if they say they don't want it.
ok carry on
