Topping up my Ford Kuga yesterday I had a struggle with spring loaded inhibitor in the filler neck. Until I turned the nozzle 15 minutes or so clockwise it simply wouldn't let the nozzle in. Managed to put in £1.36 worth and leave some Diesel on the floor.

Silly device.

I'm currently in the peace and comfort of the BA executive lounge at Manchester Airport, keeping clear of all the riff raff downstairs.
Unfortunately, the only food and drink they have on the buffet is light pastries and toast. I really fancied a hot meal but I don't wish to descend back into the terminal, queue up, and actually pay for something.

It was probably 3 minutes temporally but 15/60 of a degree rotationally.

Not worth the risk. Just charter if your own plane is not available.

You need one of these - my old Jeep has the same problem. Shove the funnel in and it goes fine. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-FORD-EMERGENCY-...

Listen, they may get away with that sort of behaviour in downtown Mogadishu but in the civilised world (aka the A12) we have technology to take care of that.

What next? Wind my own windows down? Heaven's above!

It's attitudes like this that will lead us into anarchy my friend.
