here's a fking FWP. I am testing out what might be causing me heartburn, and unfortunately it seems that a major factor might be strong coffee. What sort of cruel cosmos would deny me my Pact subscription.
Can you mix in a few Rennies with your beans before bunging them in to the old Lavazza?

the thought has definitely crossed my mind!! The most dismaying bit is that i think i have now broken my caffeine addiction as I probably only now have a caff tea a couple of times a week... the rest of the time i have fanny's tea such as 3-mint, green tea with cacao, ginger tea... the sort of thing you feel embarrassed to be seen buying. On the upside if I do have a proper coffee I am practically bouncing through the ceiling.

Same here B2CV

Anything more than 1 a day and it's like someone has stabbed me just below the diaphragm.
Unfortunately for me wine is another culprit, as is bacon and tomato sauce.

Me neither, it's always ste.

On the coffee front, my employer has issued an edict banning us from putting coffee grounds down the sink. fking fascists.
Why so? I once read that coffee grounds were abrasiv to fat build up in drains, so considered a good thing?
It's always coffee grounds they find when the drains get blocked - but I think it's fatty deposits that trap the grounds, because people put all sorts of crap down the sink. My wife has the same problem at her work.

Small cafetiere and Taylor's Rich Italian here; have contemplated getting an Aeropress but apparently you need twice as much coffee to get the same strength. What's the strength like with the Swissgold thing?
grounds down the sink? You mean you don't have a nice knock-box to knock the grounds into out of your portafilter?

Went into 'town' today for a meeting and meal. Came back to the station car-park to a car with an icy windscreen. My automobile pre-dates the general availability of heated windscreens, so I had to scrape it clear with a platinum credit card. Like a peasant.

The blasted leaves dropping everywhere are making a dogs dinner of my gravelled driveway. Where is a "tradesman" when you need one? How does one source labour to address such issues??

You mean you haven't got a gardener? My man does my leaves. Every last one.

Dropped my phone and cracked the screen yesterday.

The dilemma was : wait 4 days for an appointment to get it repaired, or order a new phone for next day delivery.

DPD should be here between 1200 and 1300

Just arrived at a restaurant and when I sat down the woman on the table behind me moved her handbag off the back of her chair and passed it to her mate.
Should I say
“It’s perfectly safe love, I can spot a fake at 20 yards “

I have some spare ‘car cash’ burning a hole in my pocket like molten lava.

But I can’t decide between an Alfa 4C or Ferrari 360.

Help.
