Fearing the worst, I did that. My below stairs staff went en-masse to the depot, strangely all carrying castanets. It was click and collect.

Went for a brief but brisk walk outside, in temperatures you could describe as "a bit nipply", whilst wearing a rugby style top with chest embroidery.
I am now slightly chafed and tender grumpy

The queue at the Post Office was long but amiable. It took thirty minutes to reach the counter and ask for a book of Christmas stamps. They'd run out. Cards with regular stamps. I have to live with this.

I hope you are getting the below stairs staff to lick them, Dicky.

Ordered a nice bottle of champagne for Christmas. DHL have lost it. I'm away from tomorrow. So I guess its a drier than expected holiday for me.
No cellar? Stick to Prosecco.

Thanks to you several of the staff are off sick with self-adhesive stamps stuck to their tongues. Apparently there isn't a proper name for this complaint.

Harsh but fair. I was trying to get a bottle of RD. Alas it was not to be.

Does wood fired rather than an inflatable spooge bath at least make me upper council?

Is that burning old pallets under a tin bath or old water tank?

Yes, I suppose that is pushing the envelope a bit too far.

Just paid 2 eastern european lads £20 to clean the daily snotter inside and out. Bear in mind this car was filthy.

Of course they did a spotless job in about 15 minutes, but on the drive home (the chauffeur had the day off) I noticed a small smear (about the size of a golf ball) just next to my eyeline. Should I have returned and asked for a full refund as their frozen fingers seemingly let them (and me) down?

Drive back to have the smear removed, also a full refund followed by having them flogged and deported.
