My son lost one of his flip flops so we have to go buy him some more as the concrete path in the garden is too hot for him to run around on. This means driving to the mall in the truck instead of the rolls (AC not working) or merc (wife has the merc today), parking, negotiating other people, driving home again. Hassle hassle hassle. I blame Obama.

I'm sat outside a bar in Spain sipping a mojito but it's not got enough lime in it, I'm not sure whether to complain or not.

I might just not leave a tip.

That's outrageous that you should have to put up with that. I would tip the table over and storm out of the place.

I had a Spanish bartender try and give me a Mojito with no mint. He "forgot" how to speak English when I asked why there was no mint.

I have 13 weeks off a year and therefore keep running out of money due to all the holidays this means I have to go on.

As if that wasnt bad enough, now I'm fat from eating too many cream teas.

Hot tub needs cleaning BUT we've just got Sky Movies and I want to watch lots of them instead.

To compound my problems - it's been really hot recently so I should have been driving the Lotus, but the TVR is my new one so I drove that and got hot and sweaty.

You lot don't know you're born.

I'm one step ahead with this, the Mrs speaks fluent Spanish, I sent her in and I now have more lime only now I reckon I need more sugar FFS, 5 euro a pop!

That's a blessing - my car has 8 cup holders, but they're all full of empties, and it isn't due for a service for another 10k miles.

Totally agree with you most of the time however he had been speaking English previously, luckily I speak German and overheard someone else being served in German so had a long chat with the guy, need to brush up on my Spanish though, I will concede that much.

Just started cooking dinner and the top of the new bottle of olive oil did not open properly.Had to grip it with scissors and it has damaged the plastic pourer in the neck.
So now I will have to live with that till it runs out.

Few friends got charged 8 euros for a Mojito at a bar in the Alps, wasn't even that good, mind you I paid 6 for a frothy pint of Kronenbourg.
