Aledgedly it is a piece of metal sticking out the side of the train, and as such the kick was actually saving the kid from a fairly (potentially lethal) injury. This is of course all speculation.

If you see the guy change the left front left by himself, undoing, taking off and putting on then tightening with a mallet, he does it in 20 secs.

12 blokes doing it together with support team holding wheels removing etc, bet they could get that down to under 10 secs.

I found both impressive when you consider one uses every technology known to man and the other does it in a boiler suit with hand tools !
