why not just have the barriers go all the way accross.

you are almost encouraging people to go around then barrier then using a very expensive elaborate system to smash their cars in.

in theory smashing your car up not involving the train would be a good deterrent, because you don't need to actually die before not doing it again, as you would if the only deterrent was getting a train in the brain.

Stupid track layout for a head to head. After the first corner there was no way the guy in second would ever get close to the first. This could only be run fairly as a timed event.
