A fairly regular excuse when it comes to criticism of moderation.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense realises that mods don't read every thread. And likewise no-one can expect them to read every post, But to suggest mods have been unaware of an 80 page thread in which at least one poster has been banned is pushing things a little.

Posting rule #1 on PH talks about not posting stuff that any reasonable person would find offensive, annoying or upsetting.

What's happened on this thread is getting too personal; and is putting people off posting on PH, in fear of getting slagged off in here for whatever reason.

It's pretty simple. Drop the personal aspect, or we'll just lock the thread. Not sure why we should have a little corner of PH slagging off people posting on PH.

And I'm not getting into any form of debate over it. Just accept it or not. And any idiot that posts garbage and incorrect crap about mods will be banned from the thread. It's a tough enough and time consuming activity as it stands without morons shouting for their rights, etc, etc

If you don't like it, then move on.

It's not a case of a 'sudden interest' I read a lot of threads and not necessarily post on them

Sure, there's other threads where I'm sure there's worse going on. But PH is a self-moderated forum - so it's fellow PHers grassing people up
