That is so obviously wrong - I'm guessing there may be some structural reason the door couldn't be central

Probably to do with fitting the staircase into the overall design ?

for me it's the angle & position of the conservatory roof and the main roof - just looks weird

hehe thats a good one - I'm assuming they realised gravity was not their friend as the glove holder on the far side is upside down too.
