Who signed this mismatch of knobs and switches off?

They all work?
They are all standard off the shelf CE marked assemblies made in volume, in the UK, by a decent supplier and have a good historical low warranty figures?
My only problem is it assumes every user can read English, and they don't have logos.
I think it's great that it looks like it's thrown together in the prototype shop.

Actually looks like the light dimmer knob has fallen off, leaving just the stub from the potentiometer, so I guess they originally did match

Nope, knob is still present!

But they do have logos. Bulbs on the buttons (won't take a genius to work out that the light switch next to the reading light works the reading light). The thermostat has a blue-red scale. Admittedly the dimmer looks more like a volume control.

As it's an England to Scotland I have no problem with the text being in English.

Worst part of that is why so mean with USB? An extra port or three, maybe USB-C would have added very little to the cost.

That's probably why there's the blue area that links the dimmer with the room lighting switch, and similar for the reading light. No good for the colour blind, but not enough options to make it too difficult to try them all and see what happens.

Very useful in some countries where you just need to switch the horn on and leave it on (I know, it's probably a momentary contact button rather than a switch, but where would be the fun in that ?)

I don’t think it’s to do with the heights (although that’s bad enough), more that the third Haynes logo from the left is different to the others.

It was the mention of Barry Jones that got me twitching...

Which just goes to show that I mis remembered my Australian politicians and I have an academic insecurity complex ... bugger smile
